When it comes to squirrel, rodent or bird feces in your home, you may ask, “Is there any health risk or disease concerns I should be concerned with?”

Leptospirosis is an infectious disease which can cause fever, muscle pain, and jaundice, and in severe cases involving the liver and kidneys.

Salmonella can cause abdominal pains and violent diarrhea and in severe cases can cause death.

It’s always a good idea to bring in a professional company to deal with any rodent droppings. Good ideas would be to seal gaps around windows, doors, crawlspaces, attics, etc.. All feces and urine should be completely removed due to the fact that other rodents will be attracted to it and try to take over and make a new nest.
