Mold Allergy Symptoms can include but are not limited to:

Respiratory symptoms: wheezing, cough, difficulty breathing
•    Nasal & sinus congestion
•    Nose & throat irritation
•    Eyes: burning sensation, watering, reddened, blurry vision, light sensitivity.  Other symptoms can include: Shortness of breath, Skin irritation, headaches, memory problems, mood changes or aches, pains, fever.

Mold allergy symptoms vary from person to person and range from mild to severe. Some people have year-round symptoms or symptoms only during certain times of the year such as in the spring and the fall when other allergies are high.  Symptoms may be worse when the weather is damp, or when you’re in spaces with high levels of mold. If you think you may have mold allergies you should contact your doctor for proper medical advice.

If you are concerned that you  may have a mold problem in your home it may be a good idea to hire a company that is certified to do a thorough mold inspection and/or testing.  Mold inspectors have the knowledge and expertise to look for areas that appear to have mold and also do air testing or surface sampling to find out what types of mold are present and at what levels.
